Hola hola como estan??

It's only been 2 days here in Texas, but I can honestly say that I am already LOVING IT. There is so much excitement and energy with my comp and mission President that it's hard not to be fired up. :)))

FLOOD UPDATE: All the water has receded, but we are still doing lots of cleanup. The past few weeks before I got here, they were serving all day, everyday! But now we are serving on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays! We just got a text this morning from the bishop that said we are meeting on Sunday at 8 am to have the Sacrament and then go out and serve...they even gave us boots and gloves and a mask! I'm so excited.

My comp is Hermana Young from....Provo Utah :) She's technically my trainer but she told me the since i'm trained, she thinks its best if we are just comps! Love her so much. We get along just great! She has 5 months in the mission and is so awesome! We are WHITE WASHING! an elder's area...so it will be good! We are learning so much every second and trying to figure out who and what is around us! It's an adventure that we are ready for!

My mission president is THE BEST. I already feel so comfortable around him and he is so excited to do missionary service. His wife is from BOUNTIFUL of all places, and I told her I knew a few of her friends and she says "how do you already know all of my best friends?" haha.  She reminds me of my sweeeeet mom :)

There were 20 of us who flew together and arrived here yesterday! It's exciting! We've already seen so many milagros these past 24 hours. We were planning for our day, and got a text from the church office saying that we have received a reference! So cool, because we got to our house at 9 last night so haven't gotten to know the area yet. I love it here and being a missionary!! <3 I love spanglish and hearing it at libraries and grocery stores and the street.

Pray for Houston!! and your fav lil Hermana down here! Ya me voy! bye
